cckwesanybody know how to add kernel parameter on boot for raspberrypi?06:12
kulvecckwes: I think there's boot.scr file on the sdcard that the bootloader parses. You should be able to put kernel parameters there06:14
cckweskulve: Thanks, I will check later after I go home06:16
cckwesbetween, I bought a touch screen and connect to my rpi and boot mer on it, feels great! ;)06:16

e8johanI was kind of surprised to se myriad as a part of the eco system - I thought you would run dalwik directly in mer...07:01
e8johanextrapolating from blogs and tweets made it look that way :-)07:01
Stskeepsmyriad runs directly in sailfish07:01

Jake9xxanother day in packetloss world07:13
Jake9xxhow hard it is to operate a broadband network?07:14
StskeepsJake9xx: depends if you attempt to do it with pigeons or not07:14
Jake9xxStskeeps: I pay for +20M line but get a disconnecting 12M line, nice07:16
StskeepsJake9xx: i found out that my miserable tv-quality cable line was due to a sour cable, heh07:16
Stskeepswell, connector, actually, turned out it wasn't screwed properly into the other cable07:16
Jake9xxStskeeps: whoa.. we had mice in our prev. apt and one day the cable TV was gone. I spent some 100e on power amplifiers et al before opening the floor to discover half-eaten cable07:17
Stskeeps:nod:07:20
Bostikhah, more than a year ago we complained to our cable-tv operator that their line was flaky and caused artifacts; twice they simply assured us that it's nothing with them - and then we got a electrician to call one of the HW guys directly07:24
Bostikhe came with measuring equipment and in the end agreed that yes, the line *outside* was indeed flaky and had constant signal problems and line resets07:25
Bostikwith that report the operator FINALLY agreed to fix it07:25
Bostikthe really funky bit is that the man who did the measurements said that in all his years he had never seen a line fail like that, and the even the line errors were yet-unseen for him07:27
*** mvogt has quit IRC07:27
StskeepsBostik: so, just like qtwebkit? ;)07:27
* Bostik hunts down the post about ISP's and telcos degrading towards collection-agency practices07:28
BostikStskeeps: no, this was worse; at least qtwebkit has not failed locally due to unreproducible and unknown HW failure07:28
Bostikit may end up causing a number of wetware failures, though...07:29

Sfiet_Konstantinand with what Sailfish brought, I feel like Harmattan is boring ...07:45
situI  believe swipe (visual) effect on harmattan to bring apps to background is still more intuitive.07:48
situOn Sailfish the app just disappears when you swipe from edges.07:48
Stskeepsit's not very visible in the demos, but if you go slow, it turns the app transparent07:49
Stskeepsand then when you complete the push, it's gone07:49
Stskeepsso you can peek back07:49
