veskuhSfiet_Konstantin, Well, I got mac at home so no NTFS09:20

MFaro-Tusinovm was an easier solution for me and i needed to access files and programs on both09:20

lbtit's pretty accurate - our setup in Mer is such that we target different architectures as a matter of course09:28

shmerl> Operators have a fear of becoming a bit pipe18:04
shmerlI have no problem with that personally. Actually it's not good when operators aren't a bit pipe IMHO.18:05
Sfiet_Konstantin:D18:05
Sfiet_Konstantinfor operators, they have to be a bit pipe without feeling it18:05
Sfiet_Konstantinif they feel it, they will abandon, or raise the price18:06
shmerlIf they aren't a bit pipe they start discriminating traffic and all that junk.18:06
Sfiet_Konstantinor put crapware on your phone18:06
sledgestime to analytically sink into his thoughts :)18:06
Sfiet_KonstantinI had that mixed feelings when MD said that there is that "operator custom" area in the feed view18:07
Sfiet_Konstantinmore crapware inside your feed view ? :S18:07
shmerlSfiet_Konstantin: Yeah :) I understand that Jolla tries to appeal to operators. But it's conflicting with users interests often.18:10
Sfiet_Konstantinshmerl: except if there is something called "vodafone-custom" that appeared in the package manager18:11
Sfiet_Konstantinand that you can click on uninstall :D18:11
shmerlSure, that would be ideal18:11
shmerlBut Sailfish should explicitly prevent having "unremovable" stuff from operators.18:12
shmerlI'm not sure how this is addressed yet.18:13
Sfiet_Konstantinshmerl: Sailfish is not harmattan18:16
Sfiet_Konstantinand the used is free to do what he/she want18:16
Sfiet_Konstantinhowever, having a package manager and stuff might be something hard enough for the basic user to remove operator custom :D18:16
shmerlRight, and hopefully that won't break stuff.18:17
Sfiet_Konstantinand well, if operators put garbage, and make user unsatisfied, they would know it, and change their policy18:17
shmerlFor example I'd like to be able to wipe FB application :)18:17
shmerlNever used one in Harmattan and you couldn't easily remove it.18:17
Sfiet_Konstantinshmerl: I think that Sailfish will be designed in a better way18:18
Sfiet_Konstantinas the device is hackable18:18
Sfiet_Konstantinand might be even more flexible than harmattan18:18
shmerlHopefully so, especially in the UI and configurability.18:19
Sfiet_Konstantinyeah18:19
Sfiet_Konstantinbut I didn't get many info on that18:19
shmerlIn the video there was just "it's possible, we are looking at it".18:19
shmerlIt sounds like not all things are final yet.18:20
shmerl(for example about adding user plugins to the status bar and etc.)18:20
