HakushoHello!11:16
Hakushoim stuck with rpm/dhd/helpers/build_packages.sh. When im choosing "all" to build, it gets stuck at building rpm/ngfd-plugin-droid-vibrator.spec. When i built all manually (one by one), ive skipped ngfd-plugin-droid-vibrator.spec, but then it failed with following error: error: Failed build dependencies:11:18
Hakushothe full log its here: https://pastebin.com/i1rWW8FM . Perhaps someone can help me / have some tips?11:19
stephgHakusho: like yesterday keep trying to build ngfd and once it's built once never try again11:19
stephgHakusho: may take 20-30 attempts :/11:19
HakushoLOL11:20
Hakushookay, ill do that. Can i try to build only that one or i have to run the whole script?11:21
stephgcan't remember the deal in the script but you may want to hack it so it just tries that11:21
stephgwill be quicker that way11:21
Hakushoyeah...11:22
HakushoCan you take a look at the log though? it says about many dependencies, not only ngfd-plugin-droid-vibrator and i dont know whats wrong with the rest11:22
stephgcan is your $DEVICE?11:23
Hakushoyeah11:24
stephgHakusho: you could try commenting it from $ANDROID_ROOT/hyrbis/droid-configs/patterns/Jolla-hw-adaptation-$DEVICE.yaml?11:28
stephgjust to see if the rest build and its ok?11:28

stephgsledges: my wifi is broke and don't have the option to enable developer tools so no terminal, I probably have missed a pattern somehow12:53
stephglet me rebuild again, but this is big progress: clean build and no recovery req'd12:53

stephgabranson: no12:54
mallantern1: well probably vknecht built it wrong (that is not documented well anywhere)12:54

vknechtah, so it's not like the SFOS port on N9 ;-)23:45
_svenwhat could i demage with the earlier command "sudo fastboot flash recovery ...img"?23:46
sledges_sven: nothing, it simply says "no such partition 'recovery'"23:46
sledges_sven: your tarball was broken from last mic due to minimal partition bug that you tripped on (others haven't, at least recently)23:47
vknechtuserdata ? some specific partition ? sorry if that's written somewhere in manual, I must have read too fast ;-)23:47
sledgesvknecht: actually, all other community's sfos ports were similar to those on N9 - a .zip file, leaving chance to even dual boot; but sailfish x is productised adaptation, how we flash official devices23:48
sledgesvknecht: userdata is /data, and is the biggest partition in your whole flash memory23:48
_svenok, i will try the rebuild later this day :)23:48
sledges_sven: means that it did not create proper LVM volumes, and just flashed something tiny; a rebuild with mic and reflash will fix things (if you nuke droid-configs, to get the fix in as i explained ^^)23:49
vknechtalrighjt, cool, that's simpler : and no wasted space :-D23:49
sledgesditto23:49
_svenshould i reboot the notebook ?23:49
sledges_sven: if `losetup -l` is not empty, yes23:50
_svenyou wrote it earlier because of loop ... something23:50
sledges_sven: exactly what losetup caters :)23:50
_svenseems i have to reboot23:51
sledges;)23:51
_svengood night all23:51
sledgesn!n23:51
vknechtbye _sven23:52
vknechtone other difficult thing to grasp, is what needs to be rebuilt or processed when some update comes (and how to get that update)23:54
vknechtand I'm not even speaking about OBS, though I understood it can help a lot23:54
*** _sven <_sven!~sven@p5B26E4EF.dip0.t-ipconnect.de> has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 260 seconds)23:56
sledgesvknecht: we'll figure something out. worst case - nuke big parts23:57
sledgesthis is more about individual builds and contributing back23:57
sledgesrather than rolling updates (this is what the official release will focus on)23:57
