Stskeepsgood news, i think06:42
jonwilI dont think QT on the desktop is going to die anytime soon, too many KDE users for that to happen.06:46
jonwilBut I hope that the news means that QT on mobile doesn't die06:46
jonwili.e. QT Mobility etc06:46
lpottertoo bad they got rid of all the Qt mobile developers06:46
jonwilyeah that is bad06:46
Stskeepsstill, embedded is very much going in same direction as mobile these days, same needs06:47
* Stskeeps hopes good companies will hire the cool people that did qt mobile06:47
* lpotter hopes too.06:48
Svioxis https://build.pub.meego.com/package/show?package=meegotouch-home&project=CE%3AUX%3AMTF the meegotouch-home package used in Nemo?06:49

StskeepsSviox: is it version 1.3.2 ?06:50
Stskeepsjonwil: sure, go look at cascades06:50
SvioxI think..06:50
dcthangyep, good news. Now Qt will be better than06:50
Svioxit has meegotouch-meegotouch-home-1.3.2-1.tar.gz as base06:50
StskeepsSviox: yes, sounds sane to close then06:50
Stskeepslpotter: btw: connman bearer management, how complete is it?06:51
jonwilin any case, the N900/N9/N950 are still the best QT-running smartphones ever :)06:52
lpotterprobably doesnt have stuff past profiles I think its called06:52
Stskeeps:nod:06:52
Stskeepsso it probably would have to get updated to connman 1.0 api i guess06:52
lpotterStskeeps: but there was some work done on it06:52

HurrianSage, btw, yes, I did the upgrade inside a screen session13:48

SageSSH breaks as connman cuts connections on update and display breaks as some package causes X to restart and it doesn't reload properly.13:50

faenilspecial, but you can only set one DocumentType...20:51
faenilso either pictures or videos20:51
faenilcan't use both20:51

macmaNnow screen is black20:52
faenilyeah that's another option, but that way you lose all automatic filetype handling20:52
specialmaybe not.20:52
specialthe gallery filters operate on "meta-data properties" - I would assume that each file has some property that would tell you if it's an image or video.20:53
faenilspecial, aha, that could be doable, if there are no conflicts20:54
faeniland much easier to implement20:54
faenilthough that would require having an always active filter...which is not a nice idea...I think we need a QProxyModel20:55

faenilspecial, I'm reading doc, there's an intersection filter, ok then it's doable ;)20:56

HurrianIt seems that the bizarre problem someone was experiencing here with zypper (something regarding mount points) has something to do with certain cards running on EXT4... while not in writeback data mode. Bizarre.23:55
HurrianI'll have to do some more testing before filing a bug report, but it seems that without data=writeback, zypper and rpm continually break the DB and cause bizarre stuff to happen such as make / read-only.23:57
