#jollamobile log for Tuesday, 2019-04-02

Nicd-hehehe remember the x-ray app for N900? :)03:36
r0kk3rzbefore my time i think03:57
henkhi, I just made a phone call and right after "hanging up" I noticed that the mobile network connection icon in the top right of the home screen shows the equivalent of "no network".  I doubt that the network is really down and think something is wrong on the phone.  Is there any log I could look at?  is looking into that reasonable or a waste of time?14:23
Nicd-r0kk3rz: it just slowly rendered an "x-ray" image of the phone's electronics, as that was the full "range" of the x-ray imaging (i.e. it supposedly couldn't reach your hands)15:43
Venemo_XA2henk: it depends. if you are on a 4g network the device has to switch back to 3g for the call, and it will switch back to 4g after the call15:44
henkVenemo_XA2: yeah, it’s 4G usually.  so it seems the switch went wrong after the call?17:19
Venemohenk: it's not my specialty but sounds like that could have happened. which device do you use btw?17:21

henkVenemo: the original jolla phone, if that makes sense?  not sure what the technical name is or where to find it.17:30
Venemohenk: yep, there is no name besides "jolla phone" :)17:31
Venemowe sometimes refer to it as "jolla1"17:31
Venemoanyway henk if you want to debug that issue, we have an ofono logger app in the jolla store which might be able to shed some light on what happens17:32
henkVenemo: I already rebooted now, needed to, phone is in productive use.  are the logs still there?17:32
Venemohenk: to be honest I'm not sure17:33
Venemohenk: what I'm sure about is that if you run the logger then it can help figure out what's wrong the next time this happens17:46
henkVenemo: oh, I reread what you wrote before and now understand that it’s an app in the store.  no idea how I managed to miss it the first time (: thanks, taking a look now18:05
henkhm, should I keep the app running or only start it in case I get problems?18:11
pahartikVenemo: "JP-1601"?19:17
Venemopahartik: yes, maybe19:18
